All 0800 numbers are 6 digits - there are no 7 digit numbers.

Should be no issue, as Steve points out there are no 7 digit free phone numbers , all 0800 / 0508 are 0800+6,
Log a fault with the help desk and they will check it out

Some companies tack an extra number or two on the end particularly when making a word. For example, 0800 GEEKZONE would be 0800 433596, the extra 63 for NE is irrelevant.

Number is just an example and probably won't connect you to MF :)

apparently "Far end doesn't like the g726 codec, remove this from your codec list and should be ok"

im using a cisco uc320w and dont see anywhere to disable g726. currently using g711a as the preferred codec on each sip trunk.

does anyone else know how to disable g726?

Hello dimsim,

Looking a bit more into the invite I can see your "ptime" is set as "30", you will need to update to the latest firmware to be able to change this to "20". Once changed this should correct the problem.

There will be, there is a setting for ptime in the uc320, will get the info for you tomorrow... The packetisation if using 30ms will cause an issue with one of the carriers hosting the 0800 numbers you will be dialing

I think this might be it:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unified_communications/csbuc300/html/uc320w_ag_78-19371en.htm

Under "SIP/BRI Trunks" - "Systemwide SIP Parameters" you should have "Packetization Size in milliseconds".
