Hi I just bought a RAZR v3x a couple of days ago and I've been trying to sync my phone with my mac using iSync.

I use OS X 10.4.8 and iSync 2.3 which, according to apple's web site, is compatible with v3x..but I can't get it to work.

I can link the phone to my mac using bluetooth. But when i tried to add it to iSync it said that 'This device is not support by iSync'.

What I can do right now is only using bluetooth to transfer files to my phone as use it as modem, nothing else.

Would be really appreciated if anybody can help.

Thanks :-)

update: Probably need to mention that I bought this from Vodafone, so it might have something to do with their firmware?

The only thing I could find was this - http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303853. Would anything in here apply to your setup?

There seems to have been 3rd party plugins in the past that had varying levels of success, but probably aren't appropriate in 10.4.7+:

Not sure why this is in Vodafone instead of phone hardware or Mac...

I setup a Motorola v3 for a friend a few weeks ago. It instantly worked in iSync though. It would not work as a modem.

I searched the net and found some modem scripts for the razr and they did the trick. Unfortunately I've deleted my downloads, but maybe this is unrelated to your problem anyway?

edit: The Motorola v3 was not on Vodafone. This was in Aust.
