I have been using my new Nokia E5 for almost a month now and I really like it. I find I'm using more data than before, and while 100MB was good on my old Nokia, this phone has a much larger screen and I can use it with much more functionality.

I checked on Vodafone's website but the next plan up from $10/100MB seems to be $30/512MB, which is probably too much for me. Is there any mid-range plan? Say maybe 256MB for $20? Or is there a plan I don't know about?

Not that I know of, last I checked there weren't any decent data plans/prepay, compared to 2ds.
That's why I switched to 2ds ($19 for 30mins/300txtx + 300MB of data).

Do you have an 'on account' plan or are you prepay?   All Vodafones new smart plans (on account) start with at least 250MB of data included ($45pm) and you can add 1GB for $20 a month.

I'd prefer on-account...I like having the free minutes/data/texts. I just wish I could get more data.

The plan I'm on is called Txt n Chat Extra.

Not bad, thanks John, wasn't aware of this. Can I add on more minutes? The data plans look good.

If you don't mind a 12 month contract, you can get $5 a month off Vodafones 'On Account' Smart 45 plan.  So for $40 a month you get 100 national minutes, 2500 TXTs, 250MB of data and one Bestmate.

You can add more minutes if you want (if you go thru a lot of minutes to one number then use that as your Bestmate!) and data can be had at $12 for 500MB (option given thru 'Data Angel') or add-on 1GB for $20 a month.
