My wifes got an iphone (on contract) and recently has experienced that she has been blocked from using data.
1) When she obtains a balance online or via the phone, she can see she has plenty of data left.
2) Text messages told her she doesnt have any data left (after a few txts saying she was low and needs to buy more.
She made a phone call to 777 almost 2 weeks ago and was told to wait a day and it will correct itself.
Today shes still waiting (patiently too), so placed another call to 777 just now and was told "sorry its a technical issue and you will need to buy more data to be able to use your data you currently have".
My wife doesnt want to buy more data as she already has plenty as part of her plan.
By the way she has recently come off the default bonus 1Gb per month for first 12 months and back to the 250Mb plan (shes not fussed as is a small data user).
She could buy more data, but simply doesnt want to just to have access to the data she has remaining.
Seems fair from her point of view... and shes quite fustrated she cant use her data and now told to buy more.
Has anyone else had this issue? I know of one other person whos having this battle also.
Cmon Vodafone... 2 weeks later and you still cant resolve ? or offer a temp solution for the invonvenience ?
