Hi

Just got the T-Box installed today and are having issues with HDMI. My setup is a Sony KDL-40EX400 with Sony DAV-DZ610 home theatre system. Problem is when the T-Box is plugged in (via HDMI, the home theatre is plugged into HDMI1) it causes the home theatre system to switch to the TV input when trying to watch TV or USB. This occurs even if the T-Box is turned off.

Is this a known issue and can I get it to all work together nicely via HDMI.

Hi

Try disabling HDMI CEC In your TV/Amp for the time being. That should stop it happening.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, this has worked but is a little annoying in that all the Bravia sync functionality no longer works, ah well. One thing is though that the home theatre system keeps turning HDMI Control back on all by itself. This then causes the original fault to occur again.

I'd ensure that you're running the latest firmware for your TV / TBox / Home Theatre. Can your gear be updated via ethernet?
Then, turn off ALL HDMI CEC functionality.
