Something tells me people running Windows Vista on their laptops and desktops should keep an eye on Vodafone's website from mid-December. I am told the VMC 9.1 will support Windows Vista.

About time. When I rung the VF helpdesk and got put through to the people responsible for the software I got answers ranging from "theres no such thing as Windows Vista" to "we will not be supporting Windows Vista" and "I don't know"

I wouldn't be surprised. I lost count of how many people don't give a toss to what Windows version they are running, have no idea of what Windows version they are running, and don't even know they are running such a thing called Windows.

Not everyone is an IT interested person.

Hmmm. Cancel that. I just got word from someone at Vodafone who told me this is undergoing internal tests but shouldn't be here before January 07.

This post contains information on how to install the Vodafone VMC 7 drivers and software on Windows Vista. It should help Windows Vista users until the new version comes out.
