I suggest activating NAT traversal and if that won't work, configure STUN.  I'm fairly sure that wxc run a STUN server.

Most likely it wil be sip nat on the wag310 intercepting inbound sip on port 5060.

A few options,

1. try changing your sip port to 5063, you can set port forwarding on the router as well for 5063 to the phones static ip.
2. Turn off the sip alg on the wag310 and also disable the voice ports on the the wag310 as port 1 will be using 5060 and port 2 5061

Ah yes, wasn't thinking that WAG310G had a built in ATA.

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I have done everything else ok.  But have trouble with this part of it.
What application should I choose.  Or am I in the wrong menu.

Pinholing/forwarding shouldn't be necessary.

Just make sure that you enable STUN on your SIP phone device, and turn off the SIP gateway in your WAG310.

Interestingly, the manual doesn't talk about being able to disable the built in VoIP gateway.

As has been suggested, try configuring your phone to use a different port, eg 5063  And if that doesn't work on it's own try configuring STUN as well.

Hi,
I have changed port to 5063.  I don't know who to configure stun server yet.  Just put in the box 192.168.1.66:5063

IIRC pan.wxnz.net is a STUN server as well, otherwise you can try stunserver.org

no change your local port to 5063 , you have it at 5060 at present,

You can use stun at stun.wxnz.net

I logged into the phone and have changed the local port to 5063 when you first mentioned.
Other than that I don't see how it can be on 5060

Possibly because your port forwarding entry is using port 888 on your external IP, not 5063. (See above where you ask which application you should use).

You may have to create a new 'application', and set its port to 5063. Note that it's UDP, not TCP. (usually).

edit: I see you have STUN set now, in which case this probably isn't the problem.
