I've got a weird problem happening. I cannot update apps via Google play store across the Vodafone network. They update just fine on WiFi.
Yesterday, I was unable to get email or sync my Google account. I thought it was Google so when the problem persisted today I deleted then added back the account. That didn't work so I did a factory reset and started over. I am still getting a message saying that Google cannot authenticate.

BUT, if I go onto WiFi Google authenticates just fine and all services work.

I have heaps of data left for this month but can't use it for anything except the web.

I also cannot receive pxt messages.

I've checked all the apn settings and everything seems fine.

Just to update - APN settings were all fine & matched what was working properly on another phone. Factory resets made no difference. I continued to get, "No Service" messages intermittently.
I tried the SIM card in my SGS2 and had the same issues. I then tried it in my HTC Desire HD and had the same issues.
Back with the SGS3, things went from bad to worse with no email access, no ability to download from the playstore (even after clearing data & cache and then again immediately after a factory reset). Then phone calls started disconnecting.

The phone was fine with a different SIM card so I was getting convinced that the card was faulty.

John was helping me out via twitter & email. He checked & said everything was fine on the VF end. My phone had disconnected itself from the network around that time and when I reconnected, lo and behold, everything is working again!

I don't know what caused the issues. I just hope they don't recur. For now though, everything is back to normal.
