I'm looking at uploading (ftp) 10-20GB of data 2-4 times per month this summer - photos going to an editing service in the US. 10GB would take around 11 hours to upload if I can manage the full 2Mbps for that whole time, which isn't too bad, but I'd quite like it to be faster.
If I upgrade to Warp Speed with 10Mbps upload will I get all or at least most of the 10Mbps? Do I need a new modem, a new router, anything like that? My main router's a Linksys WRT54GL running DD_WRT, from memory.
Edit - I'm in TelstraClear cable, and I get the full 2Mbps down/10Mbps up most of the time. I'm mostly interested in the experience of people who have the 10Mbps TC cable themselves, rather than the theory of it.
