I've been looking at review of the V3x and I'm quite interested in getting it.

I currently have a SE V800 and would like to know if it compares very well? Does it have a similar thing as SE's 'my items'? and can you zoom in on pictures already taken with the camera? also can you put on pictures from your computer to show your mates with the phone or something? I'd also be interested in knowing what the phones menu is like in the VFNZ Firmware version and whether the predictive text system is really as bad as they say in the reviews? I've read a few things about putting java games on them, is it as simple and putting it on the the phone and installing it, cause that's what i do on my v800.

It seems to have a big modding community which I like.

Also, what is the deal with vodafone selling the silver one for $400 but the black ones like almost twice the price or something? the black one looks better do which sucks.

Further comments much appreciated.

Cheers

According to the Vodafone site:

V3x (http://www.vodafone.co.nz/mobiles/gen/mobile_details_motorola_v3x_silver.jsp?st=mobiles&ss=allmodels) is UMTS (3G) $399 - Silver

V3xx (http://www.vodafone.co.nz/mobiles/gen/mobile_details_motorola_v3xx.jsp?st=mobiles&ss=allmodels) is HDSPA $849 - Black

The V3xx is the newer model ofo the V3x (which is the new model of V3!)

Tricky another wee X, that's out of my price range anyway and the current 3G speeds are enough for me.

Sorry, I Only just saw the other V3X thread, maybe merge the threads?
