Hi there. My father-in-law gave me his motorola v1050 phone with USB cable. I set it up with mobile phonetools to hopefully transfer some pics and music. It recognises that it is plugged in to my phone but when I go to transfer selected file it says no modem installed. It also says no connection even though I have broadband. I need some serious help. Pleeeease....

Have you done a Live Update with the MobilPhoneTools software? If not do so and it should solve your problem.

Thanks for the help. I did a live update and it goes through setup and everything fine.When I go to use it however it still says no modem connected. I am getting so frustrated!!! It says make sure you phone is unlocked before connecting to computer. Could there be something locked I don't know about on my phone??
