Anyone else having trouble accessing certain international sites on VFNZ?

I can't get through to Dropbox.com, Twitter.com and a few other international sites using fixed or mobile broadband from Vodafone.

Same here, other websites are fine, just can't get to twitter or Dropbox.

Via telecom XT, I can reach those sites fine.

Same here... ICONZ as the ISP

Seemed to have lost all International for a while, some of it seems to have come back now.

Yep down for me too (Auckland). Tried to submit a report here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/FaultByISP.asp but can't login for some reason.

Same here.  I called the VF helpdesk but they weren't aware of any issue (I didn't try to push it as I thought the issue may have been on my end).

Vocus is having issues getting to the US. It's a known issue, they're working on it.
(Before anyone asks, it's not related to SXC, AFAIK)

ICONZ, Unleash and others affected. Usually help desk people have no visibility into problems (yes telcos are bad at communicating, who would've thought).

To see if the site you're trying to get to is unreachable because of vocus, do a traceroute/winmtr/mtr to it. If the last hop you can see is a VOCUS host, it's this current issue.

To get around it, use a proxy/VPN you can get to via !VOCUS.

Everything should be working again now. There was an issue with an upstream provider, all sorted.

Really appreciate the examples you guys provided and your patience!

Thanks

Dylan

It still seems pretty flakey for me. Mostly just random sites though. The big ones seem to work but anything smaller like http://www.thegridsystem.org/ won't resolve.
