I picked a smartphone to suit my purposes only to then find out it may or may not work on telstra clear. Telstra told me it would if the phone is unlocked.

some guys at the retail shops say yes it will work, others say no it won't. who is correct?

I was looking at a motorola atrix2.

in other words, i want a screen bigger than 4 inches, but want to pay under $400.

Then I was shown a Vodafone smartphone HTC one x but it is $600. does anyone know how long they are generally on the market for, before they tend to drop in price?
