Hi all,

Is anyone else experiencing problems receiving texts from the UK?

My texts are received fine by both my parents but if they reply I get nothing. This starting approx 2 days ago.

I'm also trying to get in touch with VF but their suppport lines appear to be down.

Thanks.

Hi Matt

If the issue is with incoming int SMS then the sending party should be contacting their provider and logging the query, The SMS are not making it to NZ so we can't deliver them,

If you had issues sending int SMS then Vodafone NZ would look into the issue from reading the INFO you have posted the issue is not Sending but incoming only,

Thanks John,

Yes, my parents have spoken to VFUK and they say there is no problem at their end - that the problem lies with NZ.

So a bit stuck in the middle ... they can recieve my texts from NZ but I don't receive their replies from the UK. As far as VFUK is concerned, the texts are 'sent' from the UK but the problem lies with receipt in NZ.

A bit of a mystery!

Have your parents got a fault ticket number from their service provider?

I'm not sure, I'll ask. Suspect they wouldn't have recorded it but will check.

Thank you John - brilliant work there.

All up and running now; parents very happy (which is always a good thing!).
