They may do (for a charge). Even if they do, now would be a good time to consider changing to an ISP neutral email address.

This could be a free address such as a gmail, or maybe you could consider getting your own domain.

Free yourself from being locked into one provider and go for something ISP-neutral. Even if they let you do this, at some stage in the future they may pull this service or jack up the price.

I did it for my parents. Gave them a 6 month transition period where the old address still worked to get them onto email on one of my domains.

This is for my parents. Possibly would like to keep the email after they switch ISPs for 6 months so they can switch from there email to a new gmail account.

Just wondering if you do have a vodafone email can you still forward them to a gmail account or use outlook with it.

Thanks

Hi

Yes, the email address can be kept open, but it will need to be attached to an Internet login. The lowest priced Internet account we have is dial up which is $20.45 a month (or $10.45 if you also have home phone and tolls with Vodafone). More info here
http://www.vodafone.co.nz/internet/dial-up/

If you don't mind can I ask why you're wanting to switch ISPs? We launched a few new plans recently so might have something to better suit.

Thanks

Dylan

At the moment my Dad has one of your 20 gb plan for $60. He has been with vodafone when it was ihug so over 10 years moving to different plans.

Never had the deal where you get cheaper internet when you have landline with vodafone and always stayed with Telecom for the landline.

The reason being that he gets cheaper calls using 0161 when calling overseas. This is essential for his business requirements.

I know that vodafone cannot match this or never use to be able.

So the main reason is to streamline his account to use Telecom rather than pay extra in different companies.

Okay.. Sounds like maybe our Mint Pack ($75 for landline phone and 30GB ADSL) and Talk 3 (calling plan, $40.89 for calling to landlines in 21 countries) could suit.

Would be happy to call and discuss options tomorrow if you private message contact details.

Out of curiosity where does he call that he uses 0161? The 0161 pricing is pretty average these days, there are plenty of far cheaper options around.

Asia, Europe, Australia and the US.

Mostly it is not very long so what other deals are you talking about that are cheaper. That does not include calling cards

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

You could sign up with any number of VoIP providers for your landline who will all offer rates cheaper than 0161
