heya guys so i have a netcom nb16wv and i cant figure out where what voip info goes into what table coz evryone labels something diffrent so any help out b choice

 

netcome lists goes a somehting like this :

 

Display Name:

UserName:

Register Name:

Register Password:

Realm:

Domain:

Proxy Server:

Registrar:

 

where as my isp gave me all my stuff labled as:

 

VFX ph#: XXXXXXXXX

MyVFX longin info: username: XXXXXXXXXXXX password: XXXXXXXXX

MyVFX voice portal login: number: XXXXXX passcode: XXXXX

settings: proxy:XXXXXXX UserID: XXXXXXXX AuthUser: realy long code AuthPassword: realy long code

 

any help would b welcome thanks :)

Try these settings:

Display Name: VFX Phone#
Username: VFX Phone#
Register Name: VFX AuthID
Register Password: VFX Password
Realm: xport.co.nz
Proxy Server: pan.wxnz.net
Registrar: pan.wxnz.net

See how you go with that.

actuly there is still apparently one problem it does work but not 100% of the time and some ppl have said they still cant call through, would you think this is a problem at my end or not?

To be honest my advice is to buy a decent router.

Every piece of Netcomm kit I've tried has been total rubbish, particularly their VoIP routers. Don't waste your time with it.
