I've just received a Vodafone "Broadband Complete" modem/router and have set it all up.  Everything is working fine, a very nice piece of kit, but I thought I'd just check that it's running the latest firmware for it.

I found this page on the Vodafone website that talks about an update to the firmware for this modem, but unhelpfully it doesn't say what version is the latest.  There's a download link which goes to http://www.vodafone.co.nz/broadband/firmware%20 but this comes up with a 404 error, probably because of the %20 on the send of the URL.  If I remove the %20 from the URL then I get a page that says "Method Not Allowed" and that's all.

Accoding to the modem it's using Software Version V100R001C12B037.  Can anyone tell me if this is the latest or where I can look to find the latest firmware?

Great, so I'm running the latest version.

And where should I look in the future for updates?

I've done some Googling and found posts from people a year or two ago that refer to other versions of the firmware, so it looks like it's updated every so often, which is a good thing.  I don't think my old Dynalink was ever updated!

Your modem will receive firmware updates automatically if there's a particular need, there will probably be some discussion in the Vodafone Community Modems section:
