LifeSteala: You'll find Paradise mail isn't as friendly as other ones. I suggest you sign up to Gmail and fetch mail from your Paradise. Then you'll have IMAP on your mobile instead of POP.

freitasm: If you are using the Paradise SMTP via a mobile network then it won't work. Most ISPs block access to SMTP without authentication to prevent spam.

freitasm: Instead of having Paradise sending emails out you can configure Google to connect via POP and download the emails for you as posted in the link above.
It's not when Paradise sends out but when Google checks for new mails.
