Hey all, I'm on Vodafone ADSL, with phone line.

The last three nights around 8PM, Facebook has become unusably laggy. I'm talking loading spinny thing and nothing happening, messages not sending etc.

Here are some traceroutes from last night and tonight

Have spoken to a friend in a different town, but same ISP, who is having the same issue.

IP/DNS is provided by DHCP so I'm using Vodafone DNS servers.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, I knew it wasn't just me. I'm also experiencing issues with Facebook around night-time. Last night I could barely even load it. Right now it's even slow. Is this a known issue? Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Thanks johnr. Can tell you it's definitely having issues tonight :P

Also should really point out I tried different routers etc.

Have noticed the odd website just not loading but working fine when refreshing, but only happened 2-3 times tonight

I'm with Telecom and I have noticed these similar kind of issues...roughly over the last 1-2 weeks (maybe longer). Facebook won't load (shutdown try again or refresh and finally loads)..or won't finish loading, or won't post msg's on the first try (or slow to post msg). A few other pages are really slow to load up or won't load at all till I shut the window down and or hit refresh and they finally load. Youtube was really being a pita yesterday. Videos didn't lag...but page for the video sure took a long time to pop up.

I haven't done any tracerts or anything...as it has only been a minor annoyance.

I only thought I should mention it (as I discovered this thread)....perhaps it might mean something to someone out there.

I second that. Been bad for quite a while, Facebook is slow on my iPad and Laptop on Vodafone BB. But fine on my SIII which is with Telecom. Hopefully it gets sorted soon. Facebook is currently unusable.

Pretty much mirrors my experience, except replace iPad with Asus Transformer, SIII with Nexus 4 and Telecom with 2Degrees :P

I haven't noticed any issues with FB using my Telecom DSL. Good luck Vodafone customers!
