8 Channels of Sky TV now avaible more info here

The only thing they make no mention of is whether Prime news will still be streamed live on Sky News at 1730 every night - can anybody from Vodafone comment on this?

$2.50 per week

Seems to be having a few problems though - it just disappeared for about an hour from the main Live! menu but is back now.

Does anybody know what channels are actually being streamed live other than CNN?

Anyone know how they're doing it?  Is it DVB-M, or some other technology?

It's just regular streaming video over 3G - the same thing Vodafone have been doing for the past 18 months. The only real difference is the addition of a 24/7 live streaming channel and additional channels.

Nice to see that non-Vodafone-Live customers don't get the benefit...

My JasJam can do more and cost more than other VLive! phones... but yet... I can't get this even IF I am willing to subscribe to it! :-(

May as well get a cheap 3G phone for Vodafone-Sky Mobile TV...

Well I answered my own question about Prime News - it is still streamed live at 1730.

Hi, i'm trying to get Sky running on my Nokia n73. It starts to load the video and asks to Define access point. Does this mean my player (Real Player) needs the access point set up?.

I might take the phone into a Vodafone store and see if they can set it up for me.

Go into the real player options settings and set connection to VFNZ Gateway

So how are people liking this service? do we know if it's actual live streaming of those sky channels?

Can someone from VF confirm which channels are streamed unedited and which are the same as the TV? And is there a delay between it screening on Sky Digital and via the mobile?

What's hilarious about all of this is that Telecom still expects us to shell out $1.50 to watch a 30-second news clip which we are only able to watch for the next 15 minutes before it expires... Tui ad, anyone?

Thanks  - it's going good now...cheers Laughing

I'm pretty impressed with it - and after what spazz said about the Telecom service, it's very cheap!.

I think it is a great service!  Does anyone know whether there is some kind of schedule for the shows?

The only thing I think it can improve on is the content.  It should be updated on a regular basis (not talking about LIVE channels).

Cheers!
