Hi

I have a friend who is moving house shortly. He's currently on the TelstraClear homephone + broadband with 10GB = around $87!

According to the Vodafone website he'd be better off going with the standard mint plan (30gb) for $75

Can someone from vodafone tell me is it possible to move?

Can he still keep his telstraclear email address?

Can he get a new wifi modem for "free"? He currently has an old non-wifi one.

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by the first question sorry! Move what where who?

Yes they should be able to keep the TCL email address

Yes if they are not under contract then a new WIFI modem for sure (new contract term required)

Is it possible to move from an old Telstra clear plan to a Vodafone plan and still keep the old Telstra clear email address?

I know this seems a crazy idea...but have your friend tried ringing VF and actually asking them?

I'm not the account holder, and my past experience with ISPs is they don't answer general questions and insist on asking for an account number.

Yes they can, however they will need to be made aware of some specific changes to their account. As I'm part of the team looking after this process please feel free to PM me their details and I will get in touch.
