Hi I am moving house and wanting to switch to Vodafone home phone and ADSL

I am clicking away on the internet but it keeps threatening to do it 'asap' ...

Obviously I am moving house on a certain date and would like the magic to happen on that date if possible (it is possible with telecom) ...

will the internet let me do that or should I call the call centre?

When you request it at one point it will ask you ASAP or a date

ah of course!

*duh*

can i ask 2 more dumb questions i've come across

1) if i tick double data on the website will i get charged straightaway or will it only invoke after using up the allocated data

2) there is a $152 dollar option about someone visiting and sorting out the wiring - is this the same as the coffeebaron masterfilter? if it is then i should get it?

$152 is a really good price for an ISP to be advertising. They are generally well above $200 now.

2) is voda's free modem better than Thomson 585 (telecom)?

3) is it possible to be nearer to VF exchange or telecom exchange or are they the same - if different can I check how far away from each if I provide address?

2) They are both WIFI ADSL modems they both work as should

3) Telecom own few very exchanges now and I take you mean Chorus?, An exchange is an exchange they house all unbundled gear, Don't worry about that part of it you have no control over it

You only need to worry about the quality of the house wiring

there is a deal for free connection, free modem, 12 months free landlines, 5 best mates, mega pack (100gb data) for $105 a month - do you know if this deal will still be around in June?
