So, me ole mucka Sycophant is trying to win a Vodem in the Herald competition... he hit a snag though. He knows the answer to to day's question, but... the answer doesn't fit because the form has:

input type="text" name="answer" id="answer" value="" maxlength="10"
... which is two more characters than the correct reply.

Whoopsie. :)

Where do you need to put the answer in? I don't see a textbox for it... all i see is registration form.

First you register and then you try to input Kirstie Alley. I think just the surname will work, but not sure.

it may not look from the querystring, but from form data. So the querystring "hack" may not work.

I haven't look into this much at all as I can't be bothered to enter/register.

It has now been amended to: maxlength="100"

Originally I used the WebDeveloper toolbar in Firefox (oh I love that thing so much) to edit the textfield length.

When I submitted it I got the error back "Answer is longer than allowed maximum length(10)."

Poorly considered 'maxlength' is one of my major web form peevs.
