Hi im new to these forums.

I have a few questions. Ive been living in aus for a year and im moving back to NZ. Ive got a motorola F3 phone thats connected to the optus network here. Is it possible to unlock this phone so that I can use it on the vodafone network? And if its possible what do I need to do? I dont want to buy another phone as I like the one I have now and I think it will work out cheaper to unlock it. I dont care about using Live or downloading ringtones. I just want a phone to call and txt. I will be connecting to a vodafone plan (if this information makes any difference)

Thanks for the help.

AFAIK Motofone F3 can only be upgraded or language changed and revived when it's dead by one box. No unlocking for now, but who knows, it will be possible in the next couple of months.

Have you asked Optus about this? If you're out of contract they should be able to give you unlock codes for the device.
