when i log into my account at vodafone.co.nz i click on the button that says my account and profile

then i click on the button that says continue to my account information, then i click on the button that says change your details, then i fill in my new address

then i click next, then i check the box that says i use my mobile for personal use, then i want to change the first and last name and email address of the person who is going to use my prepay mobile phone, and i click next

and then it says thank you, your details have been updated.but then 4 hours later i logged in after clearing my cookies and history and temporary internet files, and my details have not been updated and they are changed back to before i updated them.
i have filled them in again and logged in 1 hour later and they have changed back again to my old details.

what is wrong with vodafone website? do they know about this bug?

Vodafone's web site is pretty brain-dead all round in my experience.  Every time I try to log in to my account, it waits forever then tells me the page cannot be found.  Yet if I refresh the "page which could not be found" it comes up immediately!  Go figure...

It has been like this for at least a couple of years and happens with 3 different connections using 3 different ISPs so they cannot point the blame back at my setup.

Regarding your details not being updated, I am not at all surprised.  It took me several attempts to get mine updated as well.  Maybe try again several times and if that fails, call Customer Services and complain bitterly.

Voda's web site is poorly organised i.e. hard to find what you are looking for, and really needs some work in a lot of areas.

I agree that their website is rubbish.

I do not have any problems with my prepay account online.

BUT my girlffriend has changed her password and it wont let he sign on. Even when she gets asked her secret question she still cant sign on. We both use the same connction, so i think that the problem may be with individual accounts, if thats possible?

Vodafone entire network and systems are a dog and much too overly complicated.. I keep getting "Knox login errors from MYA.

Top marks to whomever brought in the "Custhelp" for a the FAQ on that site, it;s the first port-of-call for any tricky questions! Maybe the Reps at 777 should look into using it! :-P
