  Hi,
I spoke to  sales this afternoon about the availability of VDSL connections through xnet /wxc for consumers, they suggested I call back in a couple of months.
Is there anywhere that I can register my interest?

  thanks,

  P-J

On my last bill there was a mention of calling about vdsl I think. Didn't look too hard at it though as I have UFB now.

Phil I'm having trouble with OpenVFX versus the MP264 VDSL modem - and I'm not getting any reply to e-mails to you or Wendy. Can you get in touch? Cheers

Guys, all I can tell you is that it is damn close, I know I have staid that before but a last minute concern put it on hold and its now part of another project and we are just finalising this.

Its close though, real close guys

Can I ask, if you can clue me in on the benefits of paying $315 to join ($285 for the 'required' MP264 gateway, plus $30 to transfer from another ISP), plus $200/month for 500GB - $71/month more than I pay for VDSL w/500GB with Telecom. I may be missing it, so forgive me if so, but it's not clear what you provide to justify the significantly higher price compared to Telecom, Snap etc?

Ooooh... The MP264. I'm using one here and it's pretty good. Connected to my 130 Mbps cable and it's rock solid. A bit complicated to configure (unless you just use the default settings) but once done, it's pretty fast.

And well done on the company renaming. I am changing the forum name now (more on this later).

Ok, so a bit confused and disappointed, as a current and more than happy Fusion customer I am concerned that I now have to purchase a router to get the Fusion service. I am an IT professional and look after my own equipment and don't need the security of a locked down "certified" product. Check the number of support tickets I've raised, probably 5 in 6 years. Yet the pricing suggests I'm going to have to pay a higher monthly fee and have to pay separately for my VOIP connection if I want to use my own equipment, got to say if that's the offer I'm seriously considering jumping ship. Or am I missing something...

May the farce be with you!
