Hi, I’m looking into getting a number forwarded to my current VFX number.  The other VoIP provider can forward to providers who provide a SIP URI (so I would avoid international call charges).  Does VFX allow/provide this functionality?

Cheers

Andy

OK, Thanks for the swift reply.

Do you allow multi routing (i.e. call rings simultaneously on more than one device)?

If you want SIP URI forwarding just forward it to your own SIP device on your own IP address.

Of course opening up your SIP device to all inbound SIP traffic does bring security issues with it, so you would need to understand these and be aware of the consequences of allowing this.

So does this only apply to the ‘basic’ pack then?

Pretty simple to get an open VFX account and you will get all the details sent tto yoi in an email, users names , basic settings and passwords etc, up to you to set up your preferred device then, one device per account though as you can not run the same account on 2 devices at the same time as they will knock each other off the air.

Incidentally, the ‘advanced’ features page of the website doesn’t format properly - have tried chrome, safari & firefox (all mac).
