Hi All

So i am looking for one of those phone people who are experts on the cellphones.

My vodafone plan is up for renewal next month and I am trying to figure out what the replacment model for the Sony Xperia SK17i currently is in vodafones lineup.

I specifically like
 - Small screen size (3" screen) I dont mind that its almost 2cm thick
 - Fold out qwerty keyboard, not a flat / lumpy membrane type, has proper buttons
 - Android

My current phone is pictured below

I hate touch screen keyboards and will normally download swype onto it but when typing in long numbers/letters into spreadsheets i prefer the slide out keyboard.

So is there a current replacement in vodafones lineup?
It must be right in front of me and i cannot see it on their website. Or has every android gone to the gimmick of touch screen only?

Yeah, they've pretty much gone touch screen these days.

You might still be able to find a xperia pro, which is slightly thinner but a larger screen and "better" keyboard at parallel imported places, but there's no real international qwerty sliders anymore :(

Or the motorola Droid 3 (check the 3G bands firrst!) or HTC Desire Z, but those are all old phones.. too.

Dang i really like this phone - the internal memory is a little low and the processor sometimes lags.
Other than that, its the best form factor ever.

I think i might just continue on my current plan, then when i break it, i'll start a new plan, sell the phone and buy another sk17i on trademe.

This is the 3rd sk17i i have had. They dont like being dropped from the top of radio towers.
