Just a quick heads up. I was billed for extra usage that I never used, confirmed by the usage meter and the help desk. If you're overbilled give them a call, they'll reverse it or apply a credit.

To anyone from Vodafone reading this it's probably something the billing team should look into. PM me if you want my account number.

IIRC you switched plans recently?

Are you sure it's not the pro-rata? The way it works it will pro-rate the allowance and calculate how much you can use.

If you change to the 150 GB plan with three days to go you can have 3 * 5 GB = 15 GB in that period. If you use anything more, then it will be "excess". It will not reset to be 150 GB in the rest of the period.

As above did you change plans in the last billing month?

A week ago I called up and asked for the pricing that's on the website. I didn't change plans, but the price did change. That isn't shown on the bill, and if it was it should go lower not higher right?

So you didn't change the allowance from 100 to 150 for example? Just the price?

Correct, not the plan, just the price. Internally they may have a different plan name though.

They sorted me out, this was just a heads up for others to check their bill in case it's not just me.
