I have the Phone and Fax Line service active on my line and I will be upgrading my fax machine this week. My current fax machine, a HP 2410, does not recognise the incoming transmission with this system. Since I'm upgrading, does anyone know what I should look for in the specs?

P.S.: Telecom has a similar service called Faxability.

The difference is that the specifications for Faxability are published and equipment suppliers know what they have to do to be compatible. Unless the TelstraClear service uses the same ring cadences as Telecom's Faxability you'll have to ask your Fax supplier if they are aware of Telstra's service.
