Just got this month's WorldxChange invoice and people should note the notice about bank account changes.

According to the text this should affect only people who pay by direct credit (where you enter the bank account number every time you pay). If you use credit card, direct debit or bill payments setup by your bank then it shouldn't be a problem.

I have just paid using the existing payee in my list, provided by BNZ... After paying I thought it would be good to check, and sure enough the bank account is the old one.

Because I added this payee years ago I don't remember if this was manually created or selected from the BNZ list. I'd say the first one.

So even if you pay by bill payment setup make sure to check the bank account.

I hope my payment is still collected by WorldxChange this month...

Bring on bank account number portability ;) There must be a number of businesses stuck with banks because of the hassles of changing.

just to point out my last remark was a bit of humour and tongue in check as I want to take Mauricio's money I really do, the finance team have every thing all under control.

Changes to bill payment destination accounts happens as an automated process under the standard bank change processes. As a consequence all banks will manage this without the need for Customers to do anything.

Note that Direct Credit payments do require manual changes with your bank

It the transaction fails, then the money will return to your account after the usual time it takes to send money from your bank to WxC's and back (been there, done that). I'd be surprised if WxC does not keep the account open for 1 or 2 months to see if anyone missed the notice, and then inform them. Or are the accountants not as bright as the opps team?
