the TBOX has been updated to IPG 2.9.29 and OS 12042013.
Anyone know what bugs were fixed, or what new features were introduced ?

Take a look under General-> TV Settings.

There were a couple of bugs fixed which caused loss of video/audio requiring a reboot.

Is it ok to unplug the t-box to save power, or should it be left on. I was wondering if unpluging it may cause damage ?

Its perfectly fine to power it off overnight.   However, no recordings will be performed while it's off (for obvious reasons) ;-)

Anybody know if this fixes the lock up that is mainly happens when starting and stopping playback of recordings and sometimes coming out of fast forward?
