We have just joined WorldXchange VOIP, and got a new SPA 922 phone (with its own PSU, as this office doesn't have POE). Before we loaded the WXC config, it stayed on all the time. Since we have loaded the config file, it now re-boots on an apparently random basis10 to 30 minutes. And following the re-boot looses the DNS settings (we have assigned a Static IP).

I assume that this is not normal!, so is it an old firmware (we had to get WXC to take the firmware upgrade out of out config, as initially it rebooted every 30-60 seconds).. or could the phone be faulty?

A couple of things that may be causing it.
1. yes it could be faulty
2. maybe if you are assigning a static IP, then for some reason the VFX config thinks it's changed, so it pulls down a new config?

How do you assign the static IP? Is it on the SPA922 or from your router's DHCP server? When assigning a static IP to a device, I always set the device to receive its IP dynamically and set up the router DHCP server to assign the specific IP address based on the MAC address.

The Guys are looking at this, support should have been in touch as wll, we believe the issue should be resolved, had to do with an incorrect name in the firmware path

Thanks everyone... It seems to be stable now, well for at least the last 5 hours. We must have gone to dynamic IP about the same time Ops corrected the firmware path. We will do some further investigation, once it has worked perfectly for a week or 2, and we know its not our hardware...

Quality is excelent so far, much better than expected... roll-on naked DSL!
