Ok, got my account all setup and received the first bill for my mobile which is cool bananas however I'm wondering what is happening with the cable internet, I assumed that I pay for a month in advance  or do I wait a month and I receive a bill for the month that has just gone plus the next month in advance?

Side Note: is there an eta on when cable internet customers will have their details merged into the vodafone system? it was one of the main reasons I was preferring to get an ADSL connection over a cable one but I was told by the customer care representative that I couldn't get ADSL because there was already cable in the area.

Hey there,

You're bang on with the second thought, there, the first statement will be sent a month out from your sign-up date, and contain the part month from installation -> billing date plus the first full month, and any joining promotions (Months free, et cetera) you may have signed up for. Billing is indeed a month in advance, but if you change your plan partway through the month it re-rates rather nicely.

ADSL isn't currently integrated with on-account mobile billing either, hoping to have the whole lot sorted in the future. But as Mr. Reader notes, this may be a way off, since it's a pretty complex process to say the least. I'm pretty confident that once you've gotten used to cable, you won't be thinking too fondly of ADSL anyway. ;)

Cheers,

 - Nik
