Posted this here because:

Two iPads with different apple ids are having problems downloading apps from the app store tonight when connected to wifi. We have Vodafone cable broadband, connected to an Airport Extreme.

Error is: "Unable to connect to iTunes store", will load AppStore app and loads app descriptions, just does nothing when you hit install...doesn't bring up password request either.

As soon as I tether either iPad to my iPhone running on telecom mobile, problem solves itself. Untethered reconnected to wifi and I started getting the error again.

This is the only problem with the broadband connection (I am posting this from one of the iPads using this connection)

Any thoughts?

Should I change to the DNS servers published on the Vodafone website (from the old TC ones): 203.109.129.67 and 203.109.129.68?

They have updated the service status now:

Customer Impact: Some customers may be experiencing issues browsing to some websites.

Examples of these include, but are not exclusive to :
tumblr
icloud
secondlife

Technicians are working on this and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.

Sweet, as long as it's not my network lol

Not sure if its related to this specific issue but I've had issues sending images in iMessage for about 3 days on my home cable connection. Don't have issues with the App Store now though.
