If you have signed up with VFX, you should have received an e-mail similar to this one:

Your best choice is to phone Xnet Tech. Support tomorrow morning using the number above and they can talk you through it.

If you are not familiar with networking there are quite a few places you could go wrong, so it will be better to phone Xnet and have them guide you step by step rather than trying to do it via this forum.

Fortunately the PAP2T is the simplest available VoIP device supported by VFX.  Let us know how you get on.

Just before you call though you might want to just try plugging it in. I was surprised to find that I did not have to do anything. After they sent out the email like the one above it just started working. No reboot nothing just plugged in a phone and it worked.

For the PAP2T it seems that it will download the config by it self so you do not need to do anything from your end. (providing it is one of the ones that comes pre configured for VFX)

Hello Jarod,

I have tried contacting on your home telephone number but there is no answer (most likely you are at work). If you could please call in on 0800 149638 and have a tech run you through the setup. The pap2t will basically set itself up all you need to do is connect it to your dsl/cable/wireless modem/router and it will download its profile then reboot. If this isnt the case please contact us on the number mentioned.
