I have been looking at getting a fibre plan and have found one I may consider depending on recommendations.
The plan I have found is with EOL a tauranga company offering a 100/50 plan with 100000MB (100 GB) Data for $119 month free router and free install maybe xnet want to match this.
If not if I call xnet to cancel service is the refund of partially used service paid back to me or is it lost as the serviced is paid monthly in advance.
There is also another offering with the same speed but 300000MB (300GB ) data for $139 month but not sure if I need that much and I figure I can always move up to that plan easier than moving down.

Note that EOL don't give out a public v4 IP address unless you pay $20 ex GST per month.. http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=135&topicid=110189

(And no ipv6)

EOL = CG-NAT and as far as I'm aware, no IPv6 to balance the negative impact CG-NAT has.

Unless you're willing to pay an extra $20/month.

Unleash - might be worth phoning them to ask what they're able to provide, they do have IPv6 if you wish also, and all customers get a static IP. For international speed they're the way to go.

$20/month seems very steep for, I'm guessing, a dynamic IP address!?  And no IPv6 even... race to the bottom indeed

Full flavour is too expensive for 100/50 but from what I read EOL may not be the best choice either I dont want to use Orcon but with the free install EOL offered I thought it may be the best choice for the next year until other providers start operating in this area.
And what are wxc cancellation policy?

I've sent you a PM.

We've got two new plans coming out September 1 (we're trialling these new plans with a group of customers now).

Business 50/20 - $119+GST.
Business 100/50 - $149+GST.

We allow individuals to sign-up to business plans.

If you come directly through me (and not through my sales team) I can knock 10% off our ratecard.

Free install will apply to either plan as well, assuming this is for a residential address.

My email is jesse@fullflavour.co.nz

And I've had a few people ask....

No, we have no plans to introduce a residential best-efforts 100/50 plan.

Our business plans have specific performance guarantees which sets us apart from the other options in the market.
