Huawei have posted generic drivers and mobile connect software for the E220 (Vodem) here

Has anyone else tried this software/drivers with Vista?  If so, any results?

Cheers

No word if that is for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS, 32 bit, 64 bit. What a bad site.

I have reflashed my Vodem with these drivers, but no Vista joy. Works fine on XP though!

I just got out of the phone with Vodafone New Zealand, and posted an entry in my blog. Vodafone vodem official drivers for Windows Vista are now available.

Vodafone is sorting out the download pages, etc. In the meantime follow the instructions in my blog to get hold of a copy.

No, they are not. A Shame because I am running 64 bit on my laptop for a while now...

Yes that is a shame, I'm not sure why they haven't got this sorted yet. Vista had been in development for a long time, with plenty of beta's for them to get the drivers almost ready to go at launch. I think I may need to look at duel booting my laptop if they are not on the horizon soon.
