Hi There!

Is such a thing coming? I have a customer wanting to switch to VF but will only do so if there is VDSL Coming?

Sorry networkn. To my knowledge the standard answer of not being able to comment on if anything is/is not coming must be given here.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

I haven't even had any luck getting info on changing the plan on our VDSL with them (it was TCL business VDSL before VF took over), so I'm not sure I'd hold much hope for an answer on a new connection just yet.

I'm pretty sure I saw a comment on here mentioning October.. But I could be mixing that up with another ISP so don't take it as gospel!

Sorry to be predictable, but yep, we can't comment on or speculate about potential future products!

Inphinity - please private message me your account and contact info and I'll check with our team to see what flexibility there might be to switch between plans.

Thanks

Dylan

Given Sky has said to look for something on their partnership with Vodafone towards the end of September, my guess is it will be about then, since they will need to have VDSL (and UFB) available to do their old fashioned, pointless, IP re-transmission of linear Sky channels outside of cable areas.

Right guys - I've started a Facebook page as it would seem that Geekzone forums and Vodafone's own forums do nothing to bring the fact the large numbers of users are considering (or already have) switching to other ISP's. I was about to switch to Snap myself tonight and lose the $13 Sky discount I get with Vodafone (And my suresignal!) when I decided to have one last crack. I wanted to ring someone to discuss even running it as a non-advertised service where clients supply their own modem but figured I'd never get to anyone with initiative and thought of Facebook - If they can bring very average lollies and biscuits back maybe it can do something useful!

So PLEASE if you are on Facebook go to

https://www.facebook.com/VODANZVDSL

and like & share the page to help get it some momentum!!!

I rang them about VDSL yesterday - was advised plans would be available 'within 2 weeks', but I couldn't put my name on the list yet.

If you are out of contract, you must ring up Vodafone and ask them to offer you a better deal. I was also about to switch to snap VDSL but Vodafone asked me to called their customer retention team and they convinced me to stay with an awesome deal.

Try it out and see what you can get.

There are so so many of these threads.... WHY ARE PEOPLE WAITING? There are at least 10 ISP's that will hook up VDSL for you now and have done for the last 5 years (ok maybe 3 or 4).
