I have recieved ftp details for vodafone hosting, however the username and password is incorrect.
Have logged into the vodafone portal and the username and password are fine.

What is the standard FTP host details for vodafone?

  • ftp.sitename.co.nz?

  • homepages.vodafone.co.nz?

  • homepages.ihug.co.nz?

Thanks

Have logged into the vodafone portal but currently dont have homepage setup.

To give you more insite, this website/hosting was setup nearly 10years ago with another company.
This company was then bought out by Vodafone and everything was transferred over to Vodafone.

Have you called the fixed line support for any support? They should be able to help

Currently helping out a friend with this as she doesn't really know much about IT or anything related to it, being said i cant call on her behalf.
We have had email correspondence with support but seems like its dragging on and on.

My guess is the site was originally hosted by Quik internet. If this is the case look TimC up on the Vodafone forums you will see that this user (which is me) is marked as a staff member. Once you've confirmed there that I work for VF send the login TimC a pm with reference number to the email that your friend the customer has sent.
If the content was originally host at Quik I should be able to help. If the content was not hosted by Quik I probably won't be able to help and calling support would be the fastest solution.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

Get the friend to call to verify they are the owner, then pass the phone to you.....

Conference call (3way).  Most cellphones have this feature. I regularly use this with my mother (when dealing with her various service providers).

Sorry you didnt understand me..... I meant that your friend should call you and you then call the ISP i.e. you make the 3way happen !
