Seems like the data caps have increased - there is now a plan with 250GB for $109 ($99 with an on-account mobile).

Pretty awesome stuff!

I currently pay $75 for 200GB with an on-account mobile plan, which is more than enough for me. But that is naked BB.
250GB for $109 or even $99 with an on-account Mobile plan would have to include a landline. No?

It would be good if it worked over the Telstra network and they didn't have the 2hr limit on landline phones (last time I looked was a while ago). I am looking forward to eventually being able to converge the two services onto one bill (and hopefully reduce my monthly spend).

Mind you, I got all excited they other day when I saw a plan for 8GB Mobile data, unlimited voice, unlimited texts, and sky sports mobile for the IPhone and it was reasonably priced - and then realised it was the new UK plans. :(

Naked plans have changed too but it looks like the "double your data" for $10 is no longer available.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

That must have been how I got 200GB for $75 when I was on 100 for $65. Just thought it was an odd pricing structure rather thana deal.

Looks like the customer who signed up for that 400GB Choca Naked promo for $75 got an exceptionally good deal.

Hi,

We now have what known as Overage. $1 per GB so no more Double your Data.
The Legacy Mega-Choice-Mint packs will keep that but the new ones dont have that option.
FYI: Naked discounts are $30.
Thanks.

Just switched over to the new "Entertain" plan. This'll be $10 cheaper as I was on the old 80GB "MEGA" plan with doubled data. Nice to see some competitive data caps from you guys (finally :P )!

Looking forward to 250GB :D.

UPDATE: I like the new "naked" plan names ;).

A have a "hunch" ( ;) ) they are waiting to roll out their "UFB" plans all together (Fibre, VDSLX and Cable). At such stage they'll probably do a huge overhaul on their cable plans.

I would also assume this would take place within the next couple of months or so.

Bit of a mixed bag, initially the plans look good, but I see they have removed best mates from the mega pack that we are on and its now $20 extra. With UFB for us "anytime" as cables are laid, will have to wait and see what voda offer against the competition (most likely Snap) and assess the situation then.

I don't like this overage idea at all , what was wrong with double your data ? Please bring it back Vodafone.

These data caps for Cable customers are getting silly (and no point saying 130 Mnps makes it OK as who really uses this speed - once you get outside of vodafones own servers, i dont get anywhere near this).

I also tried to combine my vodafone on account bill yesterday with my vodafone cable and landline bill (and also get the $10 discount). No dice - they cant do it (although it took 10 minutes on the phone and a referral to retentions to be told this).

If someone is on Telstraclears $75 a month plan resigned this year (account ownership change), can they swap to one of these in contract?

Im interested in knowing if this is possible as well. I've sent an email through to vodafone and will let you know what their reply is.
