Hi Guys,

Just updated my iphone 4 with latest ios7 but the iMessage is not activating.... it comes up with "An error occured during activation. try again" and just waiting for activation..

just wondering if this is issue with vodafone or apple?

I am sure Apple servers are getting smashed this morning, Activate once and wait

Some of my customers have had to send that authorization text to the UK again. That costs 31c. Do you have any credit on your phone? Try topping up and restarting.

Hi Chrizvi

We expect the Apple servers are very busy because so many people are downloading and installing the new iOS software. To activate iMessage the software on your phone might need to send a text message to a phone number in the UK. This is to link your phone number with your Apple account so you can be sent iMessages to your phone number.

If it's not working for you immediately maybe just wait 20 minutes then try again.
