Could be your node only. Otherwise it could be your cable affected by the storm.

Tried turning modem off for five - ten minutes then on again?

Called Vodafone to confirm they can see the modem?

Yep it's being worked on now. I've also been without service since last night. You're on the Epuni area?

We live in Maupia and cable TV and internet has been down since last night. Vodafone is working on a fix. We'll see how it goes

Hi. It looks like service has now been resumed. Your modem should automatically re-acquire. If you have a T-Box, please give it a power-cycle (turn the power to it off at the wall, then back on after a few seconds).

Apologies for the loss. That was quite a wicked electrical storm!

Cheers
Grant

I unplugged and then re-plugged the T-Box and both modems T-Box still says 'Insufficient signal strength' and still no internet. Vodafone have said there is no technician available till Tuesday.

Hi.. There's no other issues that I'm aware of, so it could be that the isolator on your house connection has blown. This requires a tech visit.

itxtme: Cable went down last night during the Wellington storm.  Havent seen anything on the status online about it, its been over 12 hours now.

Was OK in Central Wellington last night, turned off everything during the storm, still working afterwards when I turned everything back on.

Got up this morning, Internet down, message on Vodafone 0508 number says loss off internet in Wellington region due to 'severe' weather conditions. Back on by midday.

TV/T box not affected at all during the storm, after it, or today. Bloody wind in San Francisco was bad though!

Who ever decided 40 minutes was TOO LONG for a yacht race!

Turn off or unplug? I bet a good close lightning strike could bridge a switch in the off position.

Turned off and unplugged the computers and network.  Didn't bother with the TV and T-Box though.  In hindsight I should have turned off and unplugged them as well, as the TV, T-Box, etc are connected by HDMI and network cables to the network/computers.
