Just moved to Vodafone, and received the shiny new Station.

It's great, and is working well, except whenever a device joins/disconnects the network, the display lights up announcing it. Is there any way to disable this from happening? All I can find is just adjusting the Contrast/Brightness of the LCD, but nothing about its behaviour. This is quite important, as the router is setup in a bedroom, and the light will be rather distracting at night. Apart from physically covering the router, does anyone know how to disable this?

macuser: Tape works well

Hi, There isnt any capability for that in the firmware.
Best bet would be to cover it.

Thanks.

Please make an update or something, tape wont work in my case.

Or just take out the wifi menu on the LCD unit altogether.

its funny that you can only change your main Wifi settings like password etc via PC,
but for some reason its a push of a button on the LCD unit to reveal it to ANYONE!

A simple 4 digit password lock would be perfect

Yes, that's true, but if you have physical access to the modem you can factory reset it too, then it'll be back to a default wifi password. :)

I'll pass your feedback to our people who organise our modems.
