I am on a Preepay Freebie Talk plan and will shortly need access to some data for a week while away from home.
According to the Voda site, I can get an Ultraboost package for $9 for one week which includes 200Mins, 1GB data and unlimited txts. Is this the best option? Really only need the data component and 1GB is sufficient.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Isn't the Freebie plan the one where if you top up $40 you get like 1GB data free? Could do that, I mean you'd be topping it up anyway right.

There is a Talk Plan and a Data Plan, I want to keep the Talk plan and just add some data temporarily.

"$9 for one week which includes 200Mins, 1GB data and unlimited txts"

seems unbelievably cheap. So much so that I think you may be not reading it right. do you have a link?.

I can't find anything on VF website about an 'ultraboost' package

Hiya

Best way as mentioned above is to top up, say by $30, and then you get 500MB of data thrown in. You can do that through logging into My Vodafone.

Also, you can buy Boosts: $3 – 300MB for 1 day. You can do that via 777 and My Vodafone as well.

Thanks Mike, I saw the 300mb for $3 option but it only lasts for a day whereas the Ultra boost of 1GB for $9 is spread over a week and I am going to be away for a week so seems like a good option.
