I just checked my usage remotely at the telstraclear.co.nz website and it shows the last usage was between 5am and 8am on Oct 14 - yesterday. At first I thought it was fine, and replied as such, but then I checked the date - oops!
Thank you both for checking. I'd raise a fault, but the current telephone helpdesk wait time is 17 minutes...so I'll try again much later. By the time I succeed recording a fault with the help desk it will have probably been rebooted to life anyway. ;-)
