Any recommendations on where to shop for a cellphone in Singapore? Only there 2 days. Looking for a Motorola  probably.
Thanks.

Funan Digitalife Mall, near Raffles City/Peninsula Hotel, is the IT hub/shopping complex. Everyone in Singapore knows where it is, so getting there isn't hard on taxi, if on MRT, just head towards City Hall Interchange.

Watch out at the Funan Centre, the sellers there can be a bit shifty. They will quote you a price, go 'look out the back' and not have it. Just be aware what the current models are, and what they're really worth. I had someone less savvy buy something on behalf of me and I ended up getting a nice product, but it was hardly a massive bargin.

Will be heading over there later this year, will still check it out though.

Apparently there's another mall in Singapore which is more fixed price type, rather than Funan, which is for locals, as a Singaporean collegue put it.

:edit: You might want to check out Sim Lim Square as well. (link) I have noticed it's very hard to find official sites of things in Singapore.

Sim Lim Square is definatelty the place to go if you're wanting to buy electrical/electronic goods in Singapore. Catch the MRT (train) to Bugis and follow the crowd!

Funan IT centre is also very good but you'll pay a lot more for your goods, definately make sure you check out both before buying anything and remember that haggling is accepted practice and some retailers are very pushy. Don't be scared to simply walk away even if you feel it would be rude.
