Has anyone seen this from the TUANZ forum? It looks like there was quite a few problems with the network last week? https://www.tuanz.org.nz/blog/e379f711-b2b6-4423-9e32-4a8bf9f301db/4ea8da36-7694-4cfe-afa2-0a47cb775bb0.html

Funny that... It fails for everyone but for the Voda man...

Truth is, just because it works for some it doesn't mean it works for all. We have seem reports of failed SMS since just before Christmas 2006. At that time it was "overload" because of Christmas and then New Year. But it then continued to be reported. So there's something else going on there at the Vodafone HQ that we don't know about.

I heard they have been encountering some major issues with their new SMSR's

Vodafone admits there's a problem.

As I wrote. If it works for some it doesn't mean all is ok...

My sms was fine though lacking in delivery reports which were uninformitive duds anyway..

Pity about the recent buggy phones I have had the misadventure with though.

Nice little 6234... so hacked, so reliable.

I myself haven't had any issues with TXT messaging recently but I definitely know people who have (off network TXT). I wonder if this is why delivery reports was turned off? It seems to still be working for 'systems' such as 777, 7275 (txt a park) 4272 etc but not for mobile devices.

I was simply pointing out that every time anyone here says there's a problem with any Vodafone service you jump in and say all is fine with your phone/account/service, in effect trying to discredit the person posting.

That's all and clearly posted.

Agreed.

Hate to say it johnr, but your belief in vodafones reliability borders on religious fanatacism!

I was wondering why I wasnt getting replys to my texts this week, and it turns out I was out of credit, Im used to getting the text back telling me that I have no credit (seems stupid that vodagone accept it for delivery when its not going to send it) anyway, wasnt getting anything back. Till I tuned my phone off and on again...
