hello, I am returning to Vodafone after some years and I see there has been quite a few changes. Its actually my private number and I only use my phone for txts and calls to catch up with friends and other people etc. mostly txts. so I am currently on the prepay freebie talk plan which gives unlimited txts every time I top up and some air time. Which lasts for a month, so next month am I able to use my credit to perchance something similar? X amount of txts or calls? I cant seem to find TXt2000 anymore has that been replaced with TXT5000? I cant imagine using 5000 txts as I never even used the 2000 texts given by txt 2000.

anyway, is the old txt 2000 plan still valid? I think it used to be $10, has the price decreased to half since now TXT 5000 costs $10? Is there a cheaper txt plans mix of txts and calls or just texts like $5 for 1000 or 2000 texts? sorry I am a bit puzzled going to my vodafone.

What text plan does it say you have currently?

I dont know, it says I am on a freebie talk plan, I went online to my vodafone. do you know how to find out? I dont think I am on a txt plan yet but would like to be on one or buy some txts after my unlimited txts expire. about 500 txts a month would probably be pushing it.

Is TXT2000 still an option for us to purchase every month? is it still $10? You would think it would have been half the price by now since for around $10 you get TXt5000? would be pointless if TXt2000 was still $10 lol.

Thank you, come again. please

TXT2000 was changed to TXT5000 $10 per month VF to VF SMS and then TXTNZ is 5000 SMS to any network in NZ $12 per month, You need to be on Supa Prepay to select these addons

SupaPrepay , PrepaySmart , FreebeeTALK and FreebeeDATA are different base prepay plans

Hey John,

Thanks for clearing that up, I was getting a bit confused and still used to vodafone after many years.

Could you tell me what are options for those on say Freebee talk for when their monthly txt quota runs up? Am I to understand I wont be able to purchase lets say TXT5000 (which is a supaprepay plan) or some other add-on after my bonus as XX mins of air time and XXXX txts run out after 30 days? Then am I left to having to use the phones credit just like that(regular call and txt prices) or am I able to purchase more txts and more air time plans? And I I am then do they also have a life time of 30 days till they expire (like supa prepay only lasts 30 days)?

edit:

Also are we able to freely move in between SupaPrepay/Prepay/Smart/Talk/Data etc every month as we like or are there certain restrictions?

many thanks, I appreciate your help

The TXT quota on FreebeeTALK or FreebeeDATA is unlimited so you can't run out,

On Freebee you can purchase Data or minutes that last 1 day or a week if you use up these included bonus when topping up

You can move between any of the prepay plans as much as you like but there is a $5 fee to do so, with the exception of changing from Supa Prepay to any other plan or from Freebees Talk to Freebees Data and the other way around.

Freebees talk is great if you're a light talker who mainly needs texts as you're essentially getting it free as a thank you for topping up each month, but if you find yourself needing more minutes / data you can always use the credit you've stored up on freebees to switch over to the Smart19 plan

but on freehee talk the txt quota runs out after 30 days from the day you top up. so when it runs out are we able to but a txt pack or something to give us more txts from our remaining phone credit?
