Ok since my last thread got extremely confusing and I don't think I really actually got a straight answer (or maybe I did but got so confused with the rest of the commentary :) ), could someone from Vodafone or in the know please help me out with the following questions:
1. If you have Vodafone TV with Sky on the Cable network, is HD now free for all subscribed channels that are HD capable? (e.g. if you have Sky Movies, you get HD without the HD ticket)
2. Assuming yes to the previous question, do people on existing plans (post TCL/Vodafone merger but pre "UFB" plans) have Vodafone TV or do you only have Vodafone TV on the newer plans? (i.e. do existing customers get the HD ticket for free now?)
3. I notice on http://www.vodafone.co.nz/tv/vodafone-tv/ under Sky Basic that the price includes the Skywatch magazine. Is this no longer an extra charge and should one be able to get it for free now?

Also, I think the sky basic info you are talking about is incorrect. See here. I would wait and see what it says when they update it.

Thanks - the first link you've provided was the one I raised that ended up making me more confused than when I started hence my direct questions :)

The Skywatch magazine was just a bit of a throw-away question and more designed to make sure I'm not not getting something that I should...

The first link pointed directly to Grants answer about HD with UFB. He is the broadcast tech so he will be right. I am however not sure if that means in future the HD ticket might be free for people on cable.

That's one thing that confused me - UFB seemed to start referring potentially to either Fibre or Vodafone's Ultra-Fast-Broadband (which included cable). Hopefully someone can clarify once and for all.

In terms of HD being free on UFB they are referring to VF TV over fibre... not cable.
